I went to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and believe me when I say I'm not exaggerating, I'm completely serious, Do NOT go see this movie. I repeat, Do NOT go see this movie.
Near the end my mouth dropped open and I must have sat there for several minutes just completely . . . gobsmacked. I was in disbelief, appalled, and even angry that they did this to Indiana Jones.
If you want to watch an Indiana Jones movie rent Raiders of the Lost Ark but do NOT go see this movie. I won't say why it was horrible, that would be almost as bad as having seen it. If you’re a fan of Indiana Jones, steer well clear of this movie.
On the plus side, I get to use the McKay icon very appropriately.

Finally went to see Iron Man. And it is made of AWESOME! *flails* If you haven't seen it, go see it. If you have seen it, um, go see it again! And make sure you stay for after the credits. HEE!
Is it out on DVD yet? When's the sequel?

If you’re looking for an engrossing, lengthy Alias tale leahalexis’s Mirror Image and it’s sequel Seven Years, a couple of updates away from being completed at SD-1 in the Adult Fiction Forum, are a must read. They span seasons three and four and are full of intrigue, lies, shifting allegiances, abductions and evolving relationships.
Here are some brief, vague highlights:
Characters: Many of the major Alias characters make appearances, adding their particular mark to the overall story line; Jack, Sydney, Nadia, Vaughn, Weiss, Sloane, Lauren, Irina, Elena and Cole. The characters stay true to form but are taken in new directions as the story shapes their decisions and actions.
Relationships: Sarkney is the predominate relationship woven throughout the series but the canon relationships aren’t neglected. Vaughn/Lauren, Vaughn/Sydney and Sark/Lauren are all explored. Other dynamics receive their fair share of careful attention too; Jack-Irina-Sydney, Sydney and Nadia, and Irina and Sark.
Rambaldi: The often times confusing Rambaldi storylines are used in a fresh and exciting way, combining prophesies and artifacts in manner that is rather more diabolical, and coherent, than what the Alias writers produced. Even Rambaldi the man, the prophet, is fleshed out, adding another layer to the mythos.
All of the above are woven in equal parts into a compelling and imaginative story that touches on all the things that we loved about the show. But don’t take my word for it, give it a read and please leave leahalexis a comment with your thoughts.

m7storyteller because of the Chris icon and found this quiz. I had to have a tie break, and I made the right choice. =D

I hadn't checked out the new Customization pages since they changed them but I was going through them the other day so I could point out the highlights to
toxickarma, who's journal is looking fabulous by the way =D, and decided I would change mine.
I had wanted to change it for a while but didn't feel like going through the process, picking colours, graphics, etc and it always looked like. . . well, like I made it. *lol* So I picked out one that looked nice and didn't change much of it. But I do like that it saves themes so I can always go back to my previous one and all my settings, colours, grahics are still there, very nice.
I may post some icons later today, have a bit more formating to do. . .

As Danny in the Witchblade pilot/movie says. . . ( Eleven-eleven. Your Horoscope says today’s a special day. )
I only took 18 pictures but none of them really turned out. This is the best of the bad bunch, i.e. the only one remotely salvageable. =(

So, yes, I'll admit it, I've been re-reading the HP books in anticipation of the new movie ... and I like fiddling with the animation function in GIMP ... these are the results. *rolleyes*
